Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, celery, blue cheese, or ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the cauliflower into thick slices, resembling ‘steaks’.
  3. Prepare the coating by mixing olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Bake the steaks on a baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway.
  5. Add buffalo sauce liberally to the cauliflower steaks.
  6. Roast again for an additional 10 minutes to soak in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with optional toppings and serve warm.

Notes

Try to keep the cauliflower core intact while cutting to hold the florets together. Adjust the spice level of the buffalo sauce to your preference.
