A sweet and spicy glaze that transforms a traditional ham into a festive centerpiece.

  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Combine the light brown sugar, orange juice, honey, cinnamon, and ground cloves in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cooking for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens.
  3. Brush the glaze over your ham during the last 30 minutes of baking, applying every 10 minutes.
  4. Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing and drizzle with any remaining glaze.

Notes

For a more intense citrus flavor, use fresh-squeezed orange juice. Feel free to experiment with spices!
