A luxurious breakfast treat featuring golden brioche soaked in a rich egg mixture, crispy bacon, and warm maple syrup infused with bourbon.

  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 strips bacon
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon by preheating a skillet over medium heat and cooking until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Prepare the egg mixture by whisking together the eggs, milk, bourbon, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Soak each slice of brioche in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Cook the brioche in the same skillet with melted butter until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve the French toast topped with crispy bacon and a generous drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

For a lighter alternative, use almond or non-dairy milk. Experiment with different breads for unique flavors.
