A comforting and easy slow-cooked chicken dish with creamy cheese and savory flavors, perfect for weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the broth.
  3. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning.
  4. Add cream cheese.
  5. Cover and cook.
  6. Shred the chicken.
  7. Combine for creaminess.
  8. Add cheddar cheese and bacon.
  9. Melt the remaining cheese.
  10. Garnish & serve.
