This BBQ Pulled Pork dish embodies comfort with its smoky flavor and tender meat, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 23 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns for serving

Instructions

  1. Rub the pork shoulder generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  3. Add the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onion and garlic.
  4. Pour the chicken broth over the pork.
  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender.
  6. Remove the pork and shred it using two forks.
  7. Mix in BBQ sauce to taste.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on warm buns.

Notes

Serve with coleslaw and pickles on the side. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
