A quick and elegant Balsamic Glazed Salmon that is easy to prepare and packed with flavor, perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Chopped fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Brush generously with the balsamic glaze, flip, and cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve drizzled with additional glaze and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Serve alongside roasted asparagus or a vibrant salad. Can be paired with quinoa or wild rice, and enjoy with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
