A simple yet flavorful dish featuring flaky cod fillets baked with lemon, garlic, and olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons (sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and drizzle generously with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the fish.
  4. Arrange lemon slices on top of the cod.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is flaky.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of fresh lemon juice to revive flavors.
