A nostalgic baked grapefruit dish that combines sweetness and warmth, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 grapefruits
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or set your broiler to high.
  2. Cut the grapefruits in half and place them cut-side up in a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the tops of the grapefruit halves.
  4. Add a pinch of sea salt on each half.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or broil for about 5-8 minutes, until the sugar is caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
