A comforting dish blending creamy cheeses with a rich, meaty base and rotini pasta, reminiscent of BBQs and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Combine the beef with the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, crumbled bacon, beef broth, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, reserving the remaining cheese for topping.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly and garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a simple side salad and toasted garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
