Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 6 slices genoa salami
  • 6 slices capicola or ham
  • 6 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone or Italian cheese blend
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10×14 inches.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Layer the genoa salami, capicola, pepperoni, mozzarella, and provolone cheese onto the sauce.
  5. Roll the dough starting from the longer side, tucking in the sides as you go, and pinch the seam to seal.
  6. Brush the top with the beaten egg, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the Stromboli rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Stromboli can be customized with different fillings, including vegetables or spicy additions. Leftovers are great wrapped and refrigerated.
