A comforting casserole featuring tender ground beef and creamy mashed potatoes, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet until browned.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and sliced mushrooms, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Scoop the creamy mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until heated through and the top is slightly golden.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
