Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix box. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and pour it into a rectangular pan. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Once baked and cooled, spread whipped cream evenly over the top of the cake.
  3. Arrange the strawberries in neat rows to create the iconic stripes of the American flag.
  4. Place blueberries in the top left corner to resemble the stars on the flag.
  5. For an extra festive touch, color some whipped cream with red and blue food coloring, applying it as accents around the cake.
  6. Serve chilled for the best experience.
