A delightful veggie burger inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Dubai, featuring mixed vegetables and crispy flatbreads.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, corn)
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 laccha parathas
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion slices
  • Green chutney
  • Yogurt sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, garam masala, and salt. Mix until well-combined and form into patties.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the patties until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Lightly toast the laccha parathas in another pan for a minute on each side until warm and slightly crispy.
  4. Assemble your burger by placing a patty on one paratha, layering with lettuce, tomato, onion, and drizzling with green chutney and yogurt sauce.
  5. Top with another paratha and serve.

Notes

Ensure mashed potatoes are not too watery for better patty consistency. Adjust spices to your taste.
