Delicious, fudgy brownies perfect for sharing on Valentine’s Day, topped with festive heart-shaped sprinkles.

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Red heart-shaped sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely, then cut into squares and decorate with heart-shaped sprinkles before serving.
