  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough and place it in a deep-dish pizza pan, pressing it up the sides.
  7. Spread pizza sauce evenly across the bottom.
  8. Layer mozzarella cheese, then add pepperoni, sausage, and bacon.
  9. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
