A simple yet flavorful tenderized chicken breast recipe marinated with olive oil, lemon, and garlic.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Marinate the chicken: Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag, pour the marinade over them, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the chicken for baking: Remove from the fridge, let rest for a minute, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until juices run clear and it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after removing from the oven.
  7. Slice the chicken into juicy portions and serve!

Notes

For best results, marinate for 1-2 hours. Can be grilled instead of baked.
