  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate chips together until smooth, stirring halfway.
  3. Stir in the powdered sugar until fully combined.
  4. Add the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract, mixing until completely incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  6. Divide the chopped strawberries among the greased ramekins and pour the chocolate batter over them.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Let cool for 1 minute, then flip onto plates and serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
