  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced, optional)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the can of strawberry pie filling evenly. If using, scatter the fresh strawberries on top.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the strawberry filling to create an even layer.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring all parts of the mix are moistened.
  5. If desired, sprinkle nuts on top for added crunch.
