A delightful homemade ice cream featuring fresh strawberries and crunchy vanilla wafers, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract; whisk until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Fold in the strawberry puree and crushed vanilla wafers.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to instructions.
  5. Gently fold in whipped topping.
  6. Transfer to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  7. Scoop and enjoy!

Notes
