A delightful summer dessert featuring fluffy yellow cake layered with strawberry frosting and a crunchy Oreo topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of strawberry frosting
  • 1 cup of crushed golden Oreos
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • Fresh strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cake mix, pureed strawberries, eggs, and vegetable oil. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. In another bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter and set aside.
  6. Frost the top of the cooled cake generously with strawberry frosting.
  7. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo mixture over the frosting.
  8. Decorate with fresh strawberries on top.
  9. Cut, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure strawberries are ripe for maximum flavor. Pre-made frosting can be used as a time saver.
