Delicious and buttery strawberry crumble bars that embrace the essence of summer with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract into the dry mixture.
  4. Press half of the crumbly mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the diced strawberries evenly over the crust.
  6. Crumble the remaining mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let the bars cool before cutting into squares.
