  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is combined and crumbly. Press two-thirds of this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine the sliced strawberries with lemon juice in another bowl, tossing gently to coat them. Spread the strawberries evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
  4. Combine the reserved crumb mixture with rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon in the same bowl where you mixed the strawberries. Sprinkle this crumbly mixture generously over the strawberries.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish before slicing into squares. Serve and enjoy the delightful flavors!
