A rich, chocolatey dessert featuring layers of fudgy brownies, creamy chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, perfect for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 carton whipped topping
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brownies according to the box instructions and let them cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, mix the instant chocolate pudding with 2 cups of milk until thickened.
  3. In a trifle bowl or large glass dish, layer half of the brownie pieces.
  4. Layer half of the prepared pudding mix over the brownies.
  5. Add half of the whipped topping on top of the pudding layer.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie pieces, pudding, and whipped topping.
  7. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the whipped topping and gently fold it in.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles and mint leaves.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Keep mint garnish fresh separately to prevent wilting.
