  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 oz noodles (such as rice noodles or spaghetti)
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing.
  6. Toss in the broccoli and a splash of water, cover, and steam until tender, about 5 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked noodles, sliced chicken, soy sauce, and chili paste to the skillet with broccoli.
  8. Toss all ingredients together and heat for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Scoop into serving dishes and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with plant-based protein or tofu. Adjust spice levels by varying the amount of chili paste.
