A vibrant and fiery sauce that perfectly balances sweet and spicy flavors, ideal for grilling and dipping.

Ingredients

  • 3 Scotch bonnet peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine Scotch bonnet peppers, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, lime juice, and sesame oil.
  2. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
  3. Transfer the blended sauce to a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Allow the sauce to cool before using.
  5. Transfer the cooled sauce into a jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Always use gloves when handling Scotch bonnet peppers; their heat levels can surprise you! Adjust sweetness or acidity to preference.
