A hearty and cheesy casserole that combines all your favorite pizza toppings in a simple, comforting dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 12 oz cooked pasta (like penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the pizza sauce and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, the meat mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and black olives. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap the meats or add different toppings like veggies. This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
