Irresistibly rich sausage stuffed mushrooms filled with creamy richness, perfect for gatherings.

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 8 oz Italian sausage
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth, then twist and remove the stems.
  3. Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until beautifully browned.
  4. Sauté minced garlic with the sausage for about a minute.
  5. Mix the sausage mixture with cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.
  7. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the filling with different meats or vegetables. For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
