Delicious rice paper dumplings filled with a savory mix of ground meat and fresh vegetables, perfect for dipping.

Ingredients

  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Ground meat (pork, chicken, or shrimp)
  • Shredded vegetables (carrots, cabbage, mushrooms)
  • Green onions
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice paper wrappers in warm water until pliable.
  2. Sauté minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Brown the ground meat until cooked through.
  4. Combine the meat with shredded vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper; cook briefly.
  5. Fill a soaked rice paper wrapper with a spoonful of filling.
  6. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form a dumpling.
  7. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  8. Cook the dumplings by pan-frying or steaming until done.
  9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Leftover dumplings can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen before cooking for up to 1 month. Lightly oil your hands while shaping to prevent sticking.
