Deliciously soft donuts infused with rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter, topped with crushed Reese’s for an indulgent treat.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed Reese’s peanut butter cups (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, peanut butter, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let them cool slightly in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Before serving, generously top each donut with crushed Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Notes

Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer and transfer to a ziplock bag.
