Delightful flaky danishes filled with sweet and tangy raspberry pie filling, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 cup raspberry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Flour (for rolling out pastry)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your puff pastry until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the rolled pastry into heart shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
  4. Fill the center of each heart shape with a spoonful of raspberry pie filling.
  5. Seal the edges of the heart shapes to create sealed pastries.
  6. Brush a thin layer of egg wash over each Danish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar after they cool slightly.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
