Deliciously flaky pastry wrapped around creamy filling, bursting with the sweet and tangy flavor of fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup raspberries, fresh or freeze-dried
  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, raspberries, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to form bites and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden color.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to regain crispness.
