A delightful spiced spread that embodies the essence of autumn, perfect for toasting, baking, or enjoying with yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and apple juice in a saucepan.
  2. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens, about 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. Store in the refrigerator and use as desired.
