Delicious beef patties folded in soft tortillas, perfect for a fun taco night.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 taco-sized flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream, salsa

Instructions

  1. Mix the beef with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil.
  3. Form the beef mixture into small patties and carefully place them in the hot skillet.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and brown.
  5. Warm the tortillas in another pan or the microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked burgers in the warm tortillas.
  7. Top with shredded cheese and diced onions.
  8. Garnish with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

For juicier burgers, don’t overwork the beef when mixing. Make sure your skillet is hot for the perfect crust.
