A delightful dessert combining rich flavors and a comforting texture with buttery bread, creamy custard, and crunchy pecans, topped with warm caramel sauce.

  • 6 cups buttery bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the cubed bread and pecans, and stir gently to combine. Let it sit for about 15 minutes for the bread to soak in the custard mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
