A crowd-pleasing dish featuring crispy Parmesan-breadcrumb coated chicken served with a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.
  3. Prepare each chicken breast by dipping it into the beaten eggs, then dredging it in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Sear the coated chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and place them in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Create the sauce by stirring in the heavy cream and letting it simmer until slightly thickened.
  8. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra crispiness, add herbs to the breadcrumb mixture. This dish pairs well with asparagus or garlic bread.
