Delightful and easy-to-make salmon sushi bites, baked to perfection, combining fresh flavors and crunchy textures.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz salmon fillets
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 4 sheets nori (seaweed)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  3. Mix the cooked sushi rice with a pinch of salt and sesame seeds.
  4. Cut the salmon fillets into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. On a sheet of nori, place a spoonful of the seasoned sushi rice, a piece of salmon, a slice of avocado, and a dollop of cream cheese.
  6. Roll the nori tightly around the filling.
  7. Place the sushi bites on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes until crispy.
  8. Serve warm with soy sauce and garnish with green onions.

Notes

These sushi bites pair well with pickled ginger or a fresh cucumber salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
