A refreshing and rich dessert that combines creamy cheesecake and a chocolate Oreo crust, topped with chocolate ganache and fresh mint.

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate ganache (for topping)
  • Mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a baking pan to form a crust.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped cream until light and fluffy.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust in the baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then let cool to room temperature.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle chocolate ganache over the top and garnish with mint leaves.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

For a firmer texture, chill the bars a bit longer before cutting. These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
