  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Mix the yellow cake mix with 1 egg and melted butter until thoroughly combined. Press it into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  3. Beat together the cream cheese, remaining eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour this creamy mixture over the cake layer in the dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is set and golden brown.
  6. Cool for a while, then dust with powdered sugar.
