A classic, comforting dish perfect for family dinners, combining ground beef, pasta, and flavorful tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion softens.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add macaroni and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated cheese if desired.

Notes

Don’t skip browning the beef for extra flavor. Stir regularly to prevent sticking.
