A comforting and flavorful frittata bursting with mushrooms and mozzarella, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the sautéed mixture with the egg mix and add shredded mozzarella.
  6. Pour back into the skillet and cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes until edges set.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra fluffiness, whisk the eggs vigorously. Experiment with other vegetables as desired!
