These delightful mini heart-shaped cakes are soft, moist, and filled with love, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Frosting (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour mini heart-shaped cake pans.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing to combine.
  4. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared heart-shaped pans, filling them about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let them cool in the pans before transferring to a wire rack. Decorate with frosting and sprinkles if desired.
