Million Dollar Spaghetti

A hearty and comforting dish filled with layers of spaghetti, meat, and cheesy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Add in the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened and fragrant.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the meat sauce mixture. Gently mix everything together.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
