12 ounces spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
1 can (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Add in the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened and fragrant.
Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the meat sauce mixture. Gently mix everything together.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
