A rich and creamy dip featuring lump crab meat, cream cheese, and Old Bay seasoning, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 120 ml mayonnaise
  • 110 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 ml Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 ml lemon juice
  • 225 g lump crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C and lightly grease a small baking dish or ramekin.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in lump crab meat and chopped parsley.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
  6. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For best flavor, use quality lump crab meat. This dip can also be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
