A fluffy, cloud-like marshmallow frosting that adds a light and airy touch to cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (if needed)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. Add the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract to the butter, and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar, mixing while beating to achieve a smooth, fluffy consistency.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired texture.
  5. Use the frosting immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes.

Notes

Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Allow it to come to room temperature and stir before using.
