Tender and flavorful chicken meatballs served with zesty marinara sauce, perfect for any meal occasion.

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. With clean hands, mix until all the ingredients are well combined, then form into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat in a pan.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the simmering sauce and stir gently to coat.
  8. Serve hot, topped with fresh basil.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the meatball mixture to keep them tender. You can make your own breadcrumbs if needed.
