  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add the browned butter and mix until the dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into the tartlet molds and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cream until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the tart shells.
  7. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the filling is set.
