A vibrant and fresh dish of linguine pasta tossed with sautéed garlic, bursting cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil, perfect for a summer meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, taking care not to let it burn.
  4. Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine in the sauce, and cook for another minute to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Use the freshest cherry tomatoes you can find for the best flavor. Customize with additional vegetables or proteins as desired.
