  3. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest until evenly incorporated.
  4. Adjust the consistency with additional powdered sugar or lemon juice if needed.

Notes

Make sure your butter is softened but not melted for the best texture. For a stronger lemon flavor, add extra lemon zest. If your frosting is too thick, add a teaspoon of milk or cream.
