Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, bacon (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough tightly around the cheese filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops of the bites with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a milder version, use one jalapeño or replace with bell peppers. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
