A luscious and creamy frosting bursting with the sweet taste of ripe bananas, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Combine the milk, cornstarch, and powdered sugar in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until thick.
  2. Remove from heat and let the thickened mixture cool down for a few minutes.
  3. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold the cooled pudding mixture into the whipped cream gently to maintain fluffiness.
  6. Gently fold in the mashed bananas until everything is combined.
  7. Use the frosting immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
